The Town Council would like to say a huge thank you to all local residents who attended the “Carols in the Park” Christmas Carol concert on Monday 18/12/17, in the Miners Memorial Garden and made the event such a success. Our thanks in particular to Father Stephen Edmonds for arranging and conducting the order of service, the Armthorpe Elmfield Brass Band and pupils from Hilltop Academy who contributed with their own Christmas theme renditions and proved very popular on the night. In addition, our gratitude to the ECO Centre with their support with post event refreshments.
